The spirit of giving comes in many forms. Today, we celebrate those who volunteer their time. Green Burial Massachusetts(GBM), Inc has received the gift of time from many: passionate board members, those who make calls to cemeteries asking about the possibility of green burial, and those who share their stories about planning ahead for “going green” after death. We have limited time on this earth. Thank you for using some of your time on behalf of green burial.

Thank you, Elizabeth
At this time, we say thank you to Elizabeth Cardaropoli who stepped in last year as president after Judith Lorei resigned. Elizabeth has been great at staying on point and on time. We are so happy to continue to have her voice on the board next year.

Welcome, Jo
Jo Oltman has been enthusiastically supported as GBM’s new president. Some of you may remember Jo’s reflections in the 2023 Fall Equinox newsletter on visiting Baldwin Hill in Fayette, Maine. She loves to visit cemeteries and was in Oaxaca Mexico this year for el Día de los Muertos. Jo brings a renewed spirit to GBM!
